These are plain-language terms of use for maplestoryclassic.net, an unofficial fan information site about MapleStory Classic World. By browsing this site you accept them. They are written to be readable rather than legalistic and make no jurisdiction-specific claims.

What this site is

This site is an independent, fan-run information site. It publishes written guides about MapleStory Classic World: launch scheduling, install steps, class and progression overviews, and general advice. It is not operated by Nexon, does not provide the game, and cannot grant you access, restore an account or resolve a support ticket. Anything account-related belongs with Nexon's support channels.

Everything published here is general information for readers. It is not professional, financial or legal advice, and not a substitute for the game's own documentation.

Content is provided as-is

All content is provided as-is and as-available. No warranty of any kind is given, express or implied, including any warranty that the content is accurate, complete, current, suitable for a particular purpose, or that the site will be available at any given time. Pages may be edited or removed without notice, and the site may be unavailable for reasons beyond the operator's control.

Accuracy and no liability

Game information changes quickly, and fan-compiled information is provisional. Dates quoted from Nexon's official FAQ are attributed as such; anything drawn from community data is labelled community-compiled and may be wrong. Verify anything important against official Nexon sources before acting on it.

To the fullest extent permitted, the site operator accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or from decisions made on the basis of its content, including decisions about Founder's Access purchases, spending in-game currency, trading with other players or installing clients. You make those decisions and are responsible for them.

Permitted use

You are welcome to read, link to and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. You may not scrape, mirror, bulk-copy, republish, resell or systematically repackage this site's content, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from the site operator. Automated harvesting that adds load is not permitted, nor is framing the site or presenting its content as your own.

Unofficial status and trademarks

This is an unofficial fan site, not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Nexon. MapleStory, MapleStory Classic World and all related names, logos, characters and marks are the property of Nexon and their respective owners, used here for identification and commentary only. Their use does not imply partnership or endorsement. See the Disclaimer for the full statement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time, and the updated date on this page changes when they are. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. The Privacy Policy explains what is and is not collected here.
